Working with my TEDx coach, Margarita, has been such an important part of this experience. She guided me through every step of writing my talk, from shaping my ideas to practicing how I share them out loud. At first, I was nervous and unsure if I could really do it, but Margarita always reminded me that my story mattered. I also got amazing feedback from all three coaches, which helped me grow so much as a speaker. The only thing I think could be improved moving forward is having more consistency between the feedback, since sometimes it was a little different depending on who I asked. But overall, Margarita gave me feedback that was honest but also encouraging, which made me want to keep improving instead of giving up. Because of her, I’ve learned how to be more confident in my voice and to trust that what I have to say can make an impact.
